Acetilcisteína Tussilene belongs to a group of medicines called mucolytics, i.e., they chemically break up the mucus making it more liquid so that it can be expectorated. Available in tubes of 20 effervescent tablets.

In what circumstances to use

Acetilcisteína Tussilene is indicated as a mucolytic adjunct to the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections, in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

How to take/use

Adults: 1 effervescent tablet a day, preferably in the evening.
