ORTHOVISC® contains sodium hyaluronate in a sterile and non-pyrogenic physiological saline solution. Sodium hyaluronate is a high molecular weight polysaccharide composed of glucuronate and N-acetylglucosamine, which is present in many body tissues. Available in a pack of 1 syringe containing 2 ml solution.

In what circumstances to use

ORTHOVISC® is indicated as a viscoelastic supplement or as a replacement for synovial fluid in the joints and is suitable in the treatment of symptoms of synovial joint dysfunctions such as osteoarthritis.
